BARTOW, Fla. (AP) -- A Colorado man who wrote a how-to guide for pedophiles is scheduled for his first appearance in a central Florida court.
Phillip Greaves of Pueblo, Colo., is charged with violating Florida's obscenity law, a third-degree felony. A court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. The 47-year-old was arrested Monday in Colorado. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd claims jurisdiction because Greaves sold and mailed a copy of his book to undercover deputies who had written the author requesting a copy. Greaves is being held at the Polk County Jail. He told local media Tuesday that he only has sex with adults and that his book falls under his constitutional right to free speech. © 2010 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
